Having an outdoor wedding is an excellent idea for a spring or summer event – but how do you make it stand out? How do you make an outdoor wedding look and feel amazing both for you and for your guests? We have gathered some tips to help you with this – so read on and find out more.
- Offer comfortable seats. Your wedding ceremony may not last long, but even so, you do want to make sure your guests are comfortably seated throughout this special moment. Cover your seats with comfy pillows or, if you want a more rustic-chic look for your wedding, cover hay bales with colorful blankets. Either way, your seats will look really great!
- Provide cooling options. If your wedding takes place during the hot months of the year, make sure to offer your guests cooling, refreshment and shading options. For example, you could provide everyone with a parasol or with a pair of personalized sunglasses. Also, you should offer water and refreshments.
- Let them know of the location. Make sure your guests know this will be an outdoor wedding, so that they can dress accordingly. Also, consider the option of providing everyone with protection for their high heels, so that their shoes don’t get stuck in the grass.
- Keep the insects away. The last thing you want is a bunch of wedding guests irritated by the flies, mosquitoes and other insects. Offer everyone insect repellents as they enter the wedding ceremony and you will keep the uninvited buzzing “guests” away from your friends and family.
