Although they may seem like simple sheets of paper to many, RSVPs are a very important part in the wedding planning process of any bride-to-be. After all, the number of RSVPs you receive will dictate the numbers you will forward to your florist, catering manager and to all the other wedding vendors as well.
What to do when guests don’t send their RSVPs back to you though? We have gathered some helpful tips – so read on if you want to find out more.
- If you want to improve the odds guests send their RSVPs back to you in time, set their deadline at least 1-2 weeks before your deadline (the date at which you have to give the numbers to your wedding vendors).
- If you see that wedding guests don’t respond, you can start emailing them as soon as the deadline has expired. This is a less personal approach, but it will give you the chance to keep your calm and be polite. Simply ask them if they will be able to attend the wedding and give them another deadline. Also, don’t forget to mention that you will consider that they cannot attend the wedding past that deadline.
- If you are running out of time and cannot wait for guests to reply to emails, simply dial their numbers and call them. Explain to them that you need to have the final head count and that you would like to know if they can attend your wedding.
