As a bride, you want to plan your big day down to the smallest detail – but you cannot do it all on your own. You will need to hire the right people to provide you with flawless services, so that your dream wedding comes together in a harmonious, beautiful way.
Attending a bridal show is an excellent idea if you want to meet as many vendors as possible in a short period of time. How do you maximize on a bridal show’s potential to help you, though? We have some tips for you – so read on and find out more.
- Have an agenda. Know exactly what type of vendors you are searching for and what type of vendors you want to avoid. If you bring anyone with you, be sure it’s not someone who can easily distract you – and be sure they are well aware of your “agenda” as well.
- Make labels. If you don’t want to waste too much time writing down your wedding details, come prepared with labels containing the essentials vendors should know about you. Also, remember to keep your hands free (bring a bag to place all the leaflets you receive in it).
- Bring swatches. Have you selected your wedding colors already? If so, remember to bring swatches to the bridal show, so that you can have more in-depth conversations with the vendors you talk to.
- Follow on social media. If you talked to a vendor you liked, be sure to follow them on social media. This will help you learn more about them, their style and their general “M.O” – and, eventually, it will help you determine if you should hire them or not.
